Tai Chi Classes
Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise that’s suitable for older people, but just as good for young people too. Tai Chi aids mobility and generally helps with recovery. The ‘postures’ of Tai Chi are learned individually in quite precise detail then can be put together into a sequence known as ‘the form’. The turning actions of the body during Tai Chi massage the organs and combined with deep breathing help produce a feeling of harmony that can improve mood, aerobic capacity, energy and stamina. It’s also very good for improving balance and reducing stress levels.
Our teacher Graham has been practicing Tai Chi for over 30 years! To find out more about Tai Chi have a look at his website https://bath-taichi.weebly.com/ Beginners are always welcome in the Tai Chi class.
